Depression is one of the clinical issues that I treat most frequently in my practice. This mental health condition is one of the leading contributors to disability in our country, unfortunately. I understand how difficult it can be to bring one’s self out of a depressive state, and I am here to help you through this dark phase of your life.
Treating depression involves multiple factors, including addressing your lifestyle factors, thinking patterns, and behavioral patterns. I address my clients from a holistic perspective, to try to tackle the depression from all angles. This often includes assessing things such as your nutrition, sleep patterns, physical activity, support system, cognitive biases, history of trauma, and medical factors. The therapy styles that I use that can be most helpful for depression include EMDR Therapy, Ketamine Assisted Psychotherapy, and Internal Family Systems.
Though you may feel hopeless, I am here to guide you through recovery that IS possible, even if you feel you’re in a hole that you can never climb out of. Don’t wait for depression to resolve on its own, and know that it is okay to reach out for help. We all need extra support at different times of our lives. I am here to help!
