I offer all of my therapy and counseling services via telehealth video sessions including EMDR Therapy, EMDR Intensive Therapy, Ketamine Assisted Psychotherapy, individual therapy, and couples therapy. I use a HIPAA compliant secure video platform called Simple Practice to conduct online therapy.
One of the things that I love about offering virtual therapy is that I am able to help people from all over the state of California, rather than only being able to work with people who live or work in Agoura Hills (where our physical office is located), or other surrounding areas such as Thousand Oaks, Westlake Village, Oak Park, Calabasas, Newbury Park, or Malibu.
Many of my clients enjoy being able to do their therapy sessions from the comfort of their own home, and find it much more convenient than coming into the office. Of course I love meeting with my clients in person, but I have found that working online is wonderfully effective as well.
Online therapy can be great for parents who aren’t able to easily secure childcare to attend therapy sessions. Online therapy can also be convenient for people who want to do therapy sessions during their lunch break from work, but don’t want to travel into the therapy office.
Another advantage to online therapy is that couples can more easily find a way to come together each week for couples therapy sessions. Many times, the couple finds it difficult to come into the office at the same time. With video sessions, each member of the couple can access the video session from wherever they are, and they can connect at the same time from different locations. This makes couples therapy much more accessible for many people.
If you are interested in starting therapy, but aren’t sure how you would be able to make it into a therapy office each week, let’s discuss online therapy options together.
